Dear Friend of Mosaic,
Our big birthday weekend is coming up, and we are excited to celebrate with you! We hope to see you at our Community Reunion & BBQ on June 26th and at our Birthday Concert on June 27th (more information below). We also hope you can help to make our birthday wish come true. At our Annual Community Fundraising Brunch in March, we kicked off a campaign to raise $100,000 from individual donors by our 10th birthday. We are excited to say that we have raised almost $96,000 and we think we can close the gap by the weekend. Join us if you haven't already, and help us to reach our goal by donating online. Each individual donation adds up and is what has kept us going in these challenging times. Thank you!
Please do join us for a day of food, folks, and fun at The Mosaic Project’s 10th Anniversary Community Reunion & BBQ. It will be this Saturday, June 26th, 2010 from 12 to 4 pm at Snow Park on Lake Merritt in Oakland. Please remember to RSVP so we can make sure we have enough food for this special day. We can’t wait to see you there!
Then on Sunday, June 27th, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, Brett Dennen will be playing an exclusive Mosaic Birthday Concert, in the backyard of a beautiful home in Piedmont with fine food, wine, and a silent auction. There are still a few tickets left. Peter Finch of KFOG's Morning Show will be the MC for the afternoon. We are deeply appreciative of KFOG’s support, including a Fogiles feature about Mosaic and Brett that they have been playing throughout the week.
We are immensely grateful for all your support over the last decade, and we are looking forward to celebrating together at these exciting community gatherings. See you soon!
